Made in the shape of the customer's head.  Works just like regular hat stretcher, except when you stretch the hat it stretches in the same oval as the person's head so it doesn't  take the custom fit out.  Great for customer's who don't live near hatters and or don't wear their hats that frequently.  It is the sweatband that shrinks up not the hat when not worn on a regular basis.
